I have, for six months, been part of two online marketing systems, Carbon Copy Pro and Platinum 7. Through the guidence of CCPro I spent 20,000.00 and didn't make one sale. Through Platinum 7 I spent another 10,000.00 with the same results. Now the two companies are merging and promising great results. The company I support is Wealth Masters International. They are distancing themselves from both of these companies by starting a Consultant Seminar Program. Weekly, local, small groups getting together to present the real basis to the business. Have you ever purchased something from a recording? How about from someone that said "I will be representing so and so." No, you buy the person. These companies that say " we will do it all for you, you don't have to talk to anyone, make any calls or talk to your friends." are selling themselves not your business. MLM or Direct sales are based on face to face or you selling you. I just finished a call with Jeffery Combs,a 2 million dollar a year marketer. I can't repeat what he says about companies that claim to do it all for you. The point is this,It's your business! Don't make the mistakes I did early on. Do it "your way"
I have done really well. I am truly blessed. If you read this and feel like you know what I am talking about, then I wrote this for you. The people that make the big money on the internet use their own websites, not one that promotes a suppot group. If you want to know how I did what I did, just ask and I will respond.

Success By Whose Definition?
A few days ago I was given a challenge to make a video about my Successes and Failures. While I was working on this, I realized I don't have any real failures, just learning experiences. There have been times I would have liked to have different results but I can see now that where I ended up was really my choice. I have a wonderful life and feel very accomplished. I am where I ask to be, I get to do a business that I truly love doing. I have enough in my life so as to be comfortable and to be able to share. I work in my home showing people how to do what I do, make money. I am in a good relationship and feel very content. Isn't this really success?

In my last post I said I would post a list of accounts that will help in how to start a home based business online. Here is an excerpt from a letter to a friend that is just starting.
Here are a few things that will save you time once you sign up. There are a few accounts that are common to this business. PayPal, I would go ahead and get the credit card they offer, it will save you time. You will want to have a merchant account also, I got mine through Linkpoint.
Get a gmail account, this is email through Google. Also get a Google check out account. Sign up with You Tube, My Space, Word Press, Face Book, Propeller( this one is the blog page through Netscape).
It is really important for you to name your business. You want it to be professional and lend validity to your business. Go to Godaddy.com and search the name to see if it is available then you will want to get the .com and the .net.
You may want to get your name also. I have danschuessler.com which I use in my advertising.
What you are doing could be the best choice of your adult life thus far. I can't stress enough how important it is that you understand that your are starting a business. You are the owner, it will work if you do..

A Home Based Business That Works
Wow! What a great week I have had. I am in the right place at the right time..Things are really going well. I am learning so much and it is really working, best of all, I am having a good time doing it. Having a home based business is allowing me to do things I have wanted to for a long, long time. Ok Lets get on with the next step...
After I got the material from Carbon Copy Pro, and Wealth Masters International, I started trying to determine where I needed to start my marketing. What I realized was that I was already there. Carbon Copy Pro has it set up so as a new marketer, it is avaiable right there. Worked great!!!
I realized it is really important to keep things in order. You can't market something you don't know anything about. A home based business is exactly that, A Home Based Business. It will work as long as I do. I studied Wealth Masters "Six Steps to Freedom", their compensation plan and the company history. I listened to what Carbon Copy Pro has to offer and looked at their system. I started where both of these companies said to start and have been doing one step at a time. If you are new, there won't be a lot of shortcuts.
Having a business at home means you will still have to put in the time to get it going, you just have a better commute..
My next post will cover some of the accounts, like My Space, you will want to have in place as you build your business..

After the initial sign up with Carbon Copy Pro and Wealth Masters, I had a number of accounts to set up. You will want a Google check out, Pay Pal, and a merchant account. These will let you receive payment for the product and it adds validity to your business. How to start a Home Based Business, MLM
This is sort of a step by step , a how to for people going into Internet Marketing
, MLM, and starting a home based business. I will try to keep you up to date about how it works , the steps to take and how it is working for me.
I started a few months ago when I received a postcard representing a company Called Carbon Copy Pro. CCPro is a marketing system that really offers a huge assist in getting your Internet Marketing off the ground. They provide a wonderful support system and educational materials that help establish a solid foundation for your business. The product I am involved with is Wealth Masters International. Their Vision statement is, Create Success and Wealth in Others, One Person at a Time, Around the Globe. What Wealth Masters is doing is truly an opportunity of a life time.
Since I have been with CCPro and Wealth Masters, I have met the founders of both companies. They are remarkable in their own way and yet just like me, relaxed and very down to earth.
OK, The first step was to watch the presentation by Jay Kubassek at CCPro, fill out the application and see if I was approved. Then a phone call from CCPro to let me know how to proceed. The next day I received a call from, who then became my sponsor, the person that had the postcard sent to me. She directed me to WMI and was able to answer my questions. I really liked the laid back approach to this process. Nobody ever tried to "close the sale" I just looked, did some research On WMI and got started. This has been a few months ago so my next few posts will be about what to do after the initial steps and let you know how it is going for me...
